Listed Sussex farmhouses, conservation-area cottages, Edwardian shopfronts, Georgian fanlights, Tudor manor-house panelling, for thirty years we've been quietly putting them back together. Profile-matched, approved and signed off without drama.
Restoration starts with the survey. We measure the original openings, photograph the existing profiles, take templates of mouldings, then draw the replacement to match. New work goes in looking like old work.
Most of our restoration projects come through you, the client, working alongside your architect and chartered surveyor. We've worked across Sussex and Kent on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, the National Trust, parish churches, and private homes from Tudor through Edwardian.
Where the original piece can be saved, we save it. Splice repairs, scarf joints, in-situ rot treatment, lead-light reglazing. Where it can't, we draw and build the replacement to the original profile. Same timber where possible, old oak, old pine, salvaged where the conservation case demands it.
Our East Sussex joinery workshop takes on restoration and listed-building work across the county and into Tunbridge Wells and Kent, from parish churches to private period homes.

Do you make profile-matched reproductions?
Yes. We measure the original openings, photograph the existing profiles and take templates of the mouldings, then draw and build the replacement to match, so new work goes in looking like old work.
Will you repair rather than replace?
Where the original piece can be saved, we save it, with splice repairs, scarf joints, in-situ rot treatment and lead-light reglazing. We only build a replacement where the original is beyond saving, and then to the original profile.
Do you prepare drawings for planning approval?
Yes. We prepare the drawings and profiles needed for approval, and regularly work alongside you, your architect and chartered surveyor.
